Description

A rich baked breakfast made with buttery croissants, cream cheese custard, cinnamon sugar, and a simple powdered sugar drizzle.


Ingredients

  • Butter croissants
  • Cream cheese
  • Granulated sugar
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Vanilla extract
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar
  • Milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and grease baking dish
  2. Spread croissant pieces evenly in dish
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth
  4. Add eggs one at a time
  5. Mix in milk and vanilla
  6. Combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon
  7. Dollop cinnamon mixture over croissants
  8. Pour custard over top and press gently
  9. Rest for 20 minutes
  10. Bake until golden and set
  11. Drizzle with powdered sugar icing
