This Cinnamon Peach Bread is loaded with fresh peaches, warm cinnamon, a crunchy sugar topping, and sweet icing glaze.

- 1/3 cup salted butter, softened
- 2 cups ripe peaches, diced
- 1/2 cup turbinado sugar, plus extra for topping
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 teaspoons whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Dice the peaches into small bite-sized pieces.
- Beat softened butter and sugar together until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- Fold in diced peaches gently.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
- Pour batter into loaf pan and sprinkle extra turbinado sugar on top.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled bread and serve.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter.
- Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
- Cover loosely with foil if the top browns too quickly.
- Store leftovers tightly wrapped at room temperature.
