Description

Churro flavored cheesecake bars with layers of cinnamon sugar, buttery crescent dough, and creamy filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • Two 8-oz packages refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 16 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • Optional toppings: dulce de leche, chocolate sauce, honey, vanilla ice cream, or fresh strawberries


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.

  • Combine cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons in the pan.

  • Lay the first crescent dough sheet in the pan and seal seams.

  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.

  • Place the second crescent dough sheet on top and seal seams.

  • Brush melted butter over the top and sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar.

  • Bake 26–30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.

  • Cool completely on a wire rack, then refrigerate for 3 hours.

  • Slice into bars and serve chilled.

Notes

Top with dulce de leche, chocolate sauce, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent twist. Fresh strawberries also make a delicious garnish.
