Description

Crispy baked Chicken Taquitos filled with creamy seasoned shredded chicken. Perfect for dinner, snacks, or entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet.
  2. Mix chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, salsa, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Warm tortillas until pliable.
  4. Add filling and roll tortillas tightly.
  5. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  6. Brush or spray with oil.
  7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
  8. Broil briefly for extra crisp if desired.

Notes

  1. Use corn tortillas for gluten-free option.
  2. Add jalapeños for heat.
  3. Freeze assembled taquitos for later baking.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
