- 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sugar blend
- 1 cup water
- 1 small package cherry gelatin
- 1 cup fresh cherry juice
- 2 cups almond milk
- Fresh cherries for garnish
- Mint leaves for serving if desired
Instructions
- Wash and pit fresh cherries before juicing them.
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a light boil.
- Stir in the cherry gelatin until completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat and mix in the fresh cherry juice.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes until chilled.
- Whisk in the almond milk after chilling.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer instructions.
- Transfer the sherbet into a freezer-safe container.
- Freeze for 2 additional hours before serving.
