Description

Cheesy Sausage Egg Breakfast Sliders are a hearty and delicious breakfast option. They combine fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, melted cheese, and soft slider buns into bite-sized perfection. Ideal for meal prep, a family breakfast, or a brunch gathering, these sliders are customizable and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sausage (chicken, turkey, or pork)

  • 8 large eggs

  • 6 slider buns (Hawaiian or mini dinner rolls)

  • 6 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or pepper jack)

  • 1 tablespoon butter (for brushing)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: Spinach, caramelized onions, hot sauce, or honey mustard

Instructions

  • Cook the Sausage:

    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

    • Add sausage patties or crumbled sausage and cook until browned.

    • Drain any excess grease.

  • Scramble the Eggs:

    • Crack eggs into a bowl, add a splash of milk, and whisk.

    • Cook in a pan with oil or butter, stirring gently.

    • Avoid overcooking, remove when still soft.

  • Assemble the Sliders:

    • Place a bottom bun on each slider.

    • Layer with sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese.

    • Top with the other half of the bun.

  • Bake:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Place sliders on a baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake for 10-12 minutes.

    • Uncover for the last 2-3 minutes to crisp the tops.

  • Serve:

    • Brush with melted butter for extra flavor.

    • Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving

Notes

These sliders are great for meal prep. You can freeze them and reheat as needed.

Customize with veggies like spinach or onions for added flavor.
