- 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 3 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chives, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray
- Roll each crescent roll sheet into a 12×16-inch rectangle on a floured surface
- Mix softened butter with chives and garlic in a bowl
- Spread butter mixture evenly over dough and sprinkle with cheese
- Roll dough tightly into a log and cut into sections
- Roll each section into a spiral with layers facing outward
- Place spirals into muffin tin cavities
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown
- Mix melted butter with garlic, chives, and salt
- Brush garlic butter over warm cruffins before serving
