Cheesy Garlic Crescent Rolls combine buttery crescent dough with melted mozzarella cheese and garlic butter to create a quick savory side dish that bakes in minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine melted butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- Place about one tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip to form crescent rolls.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with the tip tucked underneath.
- Brush garlic butter over the top of each roll.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley over the rolls if desired.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- Do not overfill the dough with cheese to prevent leaking during baking.
- Freshly shredded mozzarella melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese.
- Brush extra garlic butter over the rolls after baking for additional flavor.
