- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 10.5 ounces milk
- 2 packages crescent rolls (8-count)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
- Mix shredded chicken with 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Unroll crescent rolls and place about 1/3 cup chicken mixture on the wide end of each.
- Roll up tightly and place seam-side down in baking pan.
- Heat remaining mozzarella, cream of chicken soup, and milk in saucepan until melted and smooth.
- Pour sauce evenly over crescent rolls.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let rest briefly before serving.
Notes
- Do not overfill the crescent rolls to prevent tearing.
- Place rolls seam-side down to keep them closed while baking.
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker preparation option.
- Cover fully with sauce to keep rolls moist during baking.
