Description

Cheesy chicken crescent rolls baked in a creamy mozzarella sauce for an easy and comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 ounces milk
  • 2 packages crescent rolls (8-count)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. Mix shredded chicken with 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and oregano.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and place about 1/3 cup chicken mixture on the wide end of each.
  4. Roll up tightly and place seam-side down in baking pan.
  5. Heat remaining mozzarella, cream of chicken soup, and milk in saucepan until melted and smooth.
  6. Pour sauce evenly over crescent rolls.
  7. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

  1. Do not overfill the crescent rolls to prevent tearing.
  2. Place rolls seam-side down to keep them closed while baking.
  3. Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker preparation option.
  4. Cover fully with sauce to keep rolls moist during baking.
