Description

Baked Cheeseburger Sliders with juicy beef, melted cheese, sautéed onions, and a savory sesame butter glaze.


Ingredients

2 lbs lean ground beef (85%)

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp kosher salt

2 tsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 white onion, diced

12 Hawaiian slider rolls

12 cheese snack bars (any flavor)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 tsp kosher salt

2 tbsp brown sugar

3 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tbsp sesame seeds


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Combine beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Press beef into 9×13 pan and bake 20 minutes. Drain liquid.

4. Slice rolls lengthwise and place bottoms in baking pan.

5. Spread cooked beef layer over rolls.

6. Sauté diced onion in olive oil until soft; add over beef.

7. Top with cheese bars and upper roll halves.

8. Mix melted butter, salt, brown sugar, Worcestershire, Dijon, and sesame seeds.

9. Brush or pour glaze over rolls and sprinkle more sesame seeds.

10. Bake 20 minutes until cheese melts and tops are toasted.

11. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Add pickles or bacon after baking for added flavor.

Store leftovers in airtight container and reheat in oven.
