Description
Juicy ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and a tangy homemade burger sauce come together in this quick and easy Cheeseburger Quesadilla—ready in under 30 minutes and perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp pickle relish
1 tsp white vinegar
¼ tsp paprika
1 tbsp grated onion
4 large flour tortillas
8 slices cheddar cheese
¼ cup chopped onions
¼ cup chopped dill pickles
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
-
Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, paprika, and grated onion to make the burger sauce. Chill.
-
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
-
Lay out tortillas. Add cheese, beef, onions, pickles, and more cheese to one half, then fold over.
-
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook each quesadilla for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
-
Slice into triangles and serve warm with burger sauce for dipping.
Notes
Make the burger sauce ahead of time for deeper flavor.
Don’t overload the tortilla—less filling flips better.
Substitute ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter version.
