Description

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats are a fun and festive twist on the classic Rice Krispie treat, featuring the beloved candy corn. These treats are sweet, chewy, and full of crunchy Rice Krispies, perfect for Halloween parties, after-school snacks, or cozy movie nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 4 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1 cup candy corn (chopped or whole)

  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Optional: food coloring (yellow, orange, white)

  • Optional: salted peanuts, sprinkles, or small candies for decoration

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or coat with cooking spray.

  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

  • Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

  • Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies. Stir until the cereal is well-coated.

  • Gently fold in candy corn.

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly (don’t pack it too tightly).

  • Let the treats cool for 30 to 45 minutes.

  • Cut into squares or use cookie cutters for fun shapes. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh marshmallows for the best texture.

If desired, color the mixture with food coloring to match the candy corn theme.

For a sweet and salty twist, add salted peanuts to the mixture.

Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
