Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1 cup quick-cooking oats

¾ cup creamy peanut butter

½ cup butter, softened

2 large eggs

2 tbsp water

¾ cup M&M’s® milk chocolate candies

¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Optional Add-ins:

½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

½ cup dried fruit (e.g., cranberries, raisins)

½ cup white chocolate or peanut butter chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, peanut butter, butter, eggs, and water until smooth.

Stir in oats, M&M’s®, and chocolate chips until evenly combined.

Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.

Bake for 14–15 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are still slightly soft.

Cool cthe ookies on the baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill dough if it feels too sticky.
For softer cookies, remove from oven while slightly underbaked.
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Dough and baked cookies freeze well for up to 3 months.
