Description

Rich Butter Pecan Syrup made with real butter, toasted pecans, brown sugar, maple syrup, and cream for coffee, pancakes, and desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Toast chopped pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, then set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add maple syrup and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  4. Stir in toasted pecans, vanilla extract, and salt, then bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

Notes

  1. Stir syrup before each use, as pecans may settle during storage.
  2. Reheat gently to restore smooth consistency.
