- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Toast chopped pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, then set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
- Add maple syrup and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Stir in toasted pecans, vanilla extract, and salt, then bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
Notes
- Stir syrup before each use, as pecans may settle during storage.
