Description

Spicy, cheesy Buffalo Chicken Sliders made with rotisserie chicken, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, melted cheese, and sweet Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 package 12-count King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional sliced green onions, ranch, or buffalo sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Stir the melted butter and garlic powder together in a small bowl.
  3. Combine the shredded chicken, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, half of the cheddar, and half of the mozzarella in a large bowl.
  4. Slice the connected Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom slab in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom rolls.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella evenly over the chicken.
  7. Place the top slab of rolls over the cheese and brush generously with the garlic butter.
  8. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the tops turn golden and the cheese melts.
  10. Rest for 3 to 5 minutes, slice along the roll seams, and serve warm.

Notes

  1. Keep the rolls connected while assembling for faster, cleaner layering.
  2. Use finely shredded chicken so the sliders cut easily.
  3. Reduce the buffalo sauce and add extra ranch for a milder flavor.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  5. Reheat covered in a 350°F oven until the centers become hot.
