Description
This easy Boursin chicken recipe comes together quickly with a handful of everyday ingredients and has a deliciously creamy and cheesy herb sauce.
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 medium onion, chopped
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Fine Herbs & Garlic cheese, softened
1–2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to get 4 thinner pieces. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat oil and butter in a skillet. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
3. Add onions to the skillet. Sauté 5 minutes until softened.
4. Add chicken broth and Boursin. Stir until smooth. Let bubble 5 minutes and add parsley.
5. Return chicken and juices to skillet. Warm through. Adjust thickness with broth if needed.
6. Season to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
Use low-sodium broth if sensitive to salt.
Chicken is cooked at 165F in the thickest part.
