Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 count package refrigerated Grands biscuit dough

  • 1 pound bulk sausage

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 6 large eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 peppered gravy mix (2 3/4 ounce, makes 2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13×9 baking dish with non-stick spray.

  2. Cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.

  3. Cut biscuits into 4 pieces and arrange evenly in dish.

  4. Add cooked sausage and sprinkle cheese on top.

  5. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over casserole.

  6. Prepare gravy per package and pour over entire dish.

  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and puffed.

Notes

To make ahead, assemble the casserole the night before and refrigerate. Bake in the morning.

For a 3-meat version, add diced ham and bacon.

For extra comfort, drizzle more gravy before serving.
