Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Add the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and cooked rice or pasta, if using, to a large mixing bowl.
- Stir until the chicken and optional rice or pasta are evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the cheese melts, bubbles, and becomes lightly golden.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
