Description
Authentic Griddle Cheesesteak made on a Blackstone griddle with tender ribeye steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted provolone cheese for a classic Philly-style meal.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds shaved beef or thin sliced ribeye
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 onion, sliced
- 15 slices provolone cheese
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Hoagie rolls optional
- 1 jar Cheez Wiz optional
Instructions
- Preheat Blackstone griddle to medium high heat for about 5 minutes
- Add oil to one half of the griddle and cook sliced onion and green pepper while stirring occasionally
- Add another thin layer of oil to the other half of the griddle and place shaved ribeye on the hot surface
- Season steak with salt and pepper and stir using a spatula until evenly browned
- Combine cooked steak and vegetables together on the griddle and layer provolone cheese on top
- Cover with a melting dome and allow cheese to melt from residual heat
- Serve immediately on toasted hoagie rolls or as a bread free plate
Notes
- Use ribeye steak for the most tender texture
- Toast hoagie rolls with butter for extra flavor
- Add Cheez Wiz for a traditional Philly cheesesteak variation
