Description

Juicy bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs cooked to perfection in the air fryer—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned with smoky paprika and garlic. This quick, healthy dinner comes together in just 30 minutes and is perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (approx. 800 g)

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil

  • 1 tsp (5 g) smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp (5 g) garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub all over with olive oil.

  • Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, lifting the skin to season underneath.

  • Place chicken skin-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook for 11–12 minutes, flip, then cook another 11–13 minutes until skin is golden and crisp and internal temperature reaches 175°F (79°C).

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Dry skin before cooking for maximum crispiness.

Avoid crowding the basket so hot air circulates evenly.

Use a meat thermometer for best results.

Experiment with seasonings like chili powder, Italian herbs, or Cajun spice.
