Description

Sweet juicy peaches wrapped in flaky crescent dough, baked with butter, peach syrup, and cinnamon sugar until golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an easy peach dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls, 8-count
  • 1 can peach halves in light syrup, syrup reserved
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or small casserole dish.
  2. Open the can of peaches and reserve 2/3 cup of the light syrup.
  3. Cut the peach halves in half so you have 8 peach pieces.
  4. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate the dough into 8 triangles.
  5. Place one peach piece on the wide end of each crescent triangle, then roll the dough around the peach.
  6. Arrange the wrapped peaches seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Combine the melted butter with the reserved peach syrup.
  8. Pour the butter and syrup mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.
  9. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the tops.
  10. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the dumplings look lightly browned and the sauce bubbles around the edges.
  11. Let the dumplings rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  1. Nutrition information is an estimate and will vary based on ingredient brands and serving sizes.
  2. Keep crescent dough chilled until ready to roll for the best texture.
  3. For extra flavor, add a small splash of vanilla extract to the butter and peach syrup mixture.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
