Description
These buttery, fluffy pretzel bites are the perfect quick snack—crispy outside, soft inside, and made in just 10 minutes using an air fryer. Ideal for kids, parties, or when hunger strikes.
Ingredients
-
2 cups warm water (110°F)
-
4 cups all-purpose flour
-
2.4 teaspoons quick rise yeast
-
1 teaspoon sea salt
-
1 tablespoon sugar or honey
-
4 tablespoons melted butter
-
Pretzel salt (optional)
Instructions
-
Heat the water to 110°F and whisk in the yeast. Let sit briefly.
-
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar or honey, and salt.
-
Add the yeast mixture and stir into a thick, pliable dough. Add water if too dry.
-
On a floured surface, divide dough into 8 pieces, roll into ropes, and cut into 1-inch bites.
-
Lightly oil the air fryer basket and arrange bites with space between.
-
Brush each with melted butter and air fry at 400°F for 7 minutes until golden.
-
Remove, brush with more butter, and sprinkle with pretzel salt. Serve warm.
Notes
For a sweet version, dust with cinnamon sugar after buttering.
Let the dough rest 5–10 minutes for extra chew.
Freeze-cooled bites and reheat straight from frozen in the air fryer.
